3 Tips How to Dress Casual as a MtF Transwoman

Knowing how to dress casual is super important as a MtF transwoman. Being able to be comfortable and look cute is one of the basic necessities of fashion. We've come up with three of our favorite casual dressing tips, with MtF outfit examples to help guide you in finding your unique style!

Tip #1) Find inspiration

Have you ever seen an actress or woman walking down the street and said, she's got style! Of course you have. This is one of the best ways to find a style that suits you. See what type of clothing she's wearing, is she wearing a flowing summer dress with flip-flops, or is she wearing a halter top, blue jeans and sneakers. Notice if she's got any cool jewelry, such as a necklace, or a bracelet. The next time you're out, try and gather as much inspiration as you can when deciding on your casual dressing style.

You can also find inspiration a number of other ways, such as from your favorite TV show, Instagram, or favorite online personality. The choice is yours.

Tip #2) A fitted top, jeans/pants and a pair of sneakers or flats.

If you are looking for an easy, comfortable and casual outfit as MtF, look no further than a cute fitted top, light colored blue jeans (or patterned pants) and a pair of Vans or Converse sneakers. If you don't like wearing sneakers, you can wear a pair of flats instead. This is a style that will never go out of style, and screams casual, yet has cool vibes. You can of course spice up this outfit by accessorizing with a cute necklace, bracelet or a set of earrings. Make it your own!

Tip #3) Accessorize, accessorize, accessorize!

Being able to know how to dress casual does not mean to forget the accessories. Matter of fact it is quite the opposite. Dressing casual as a transwoman is no different than how a ciswoman would dress, so the magic is in the details. Throw on your favorite choker necklace, or wear that set of silver rings that you've been afraid to wear. Put on your prized bracelet, and wear that cute purse you've been itching to wear out.
