Knowing how to dress as a MtF trans woman can be challenging. There are so many styles, outfits, accessories, to choose from, but where do you start. Discovering your own feminine style all stems from a few good fashion tips and tricks. So, without further ado, let's get started.

1. Keep it Simple

When it comes to fashion, you want to find a style that is easy to maintain. Remember, you have to dress every day, so minimize complications whenever possible. Have a few “go to” outfits that you can always depend on.

If you are unsure of what to wear, throw on a tank top and your favorite pair of high waisted jeans. Accessorize it with a some cute accessories, and you're good to go!

2. Wear What You Like

Often times we overlook styles that we like, in hopes to find a better one. Additionally, there are a lot of styles that we don't think would look good on us, when in reality they would look great. Be creative, and don't be afraid to wear something new.

3. Get Tucking Underwear

If you are a pre-op trans woman, you will want to own tucking underwear. Tucking underwear are made of a compression material that helps keep everything flat "down there".  This will help you to feel comfortable wearing tight jeans, leggings, and other snug fitting pants.

Tips for Wearing Leggings

Leggings are cute, comfortable and feminine. They are easy to wear, and are perfect to just throw on and go. Here are a few ideas on how to style your leggings.

Tip 1. Wear a Skirt Over Your Leggings

Wearing a skirt over your leggings can add another level of dimension to your outfit. It’s cute, and stylish. It’s also the perfect way to still wear leggings when you don’t feel like tucking.

Tip 2. Use Tucking Tape

When you want a perfectly smooth tuck, tucking tape is the perfect solution. It can help you keep everything tucked away and neat, without having to worry about a bulge showing. Wearing leggings during activities such as yoga, and going to the gym can be a breeze with the help of a high-quality tucking tape.
